Todd grew up in a Christian family where he learned about Jesus from a young age. A native of Spring Valley, he was heavily influenced by the community-wide youth group during his teen years. Upon graduation from high school, he attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where he was involved with the Navigators and also met his wife Jenny.

Todd and Jenny married in 2008 and then served on staff with the Navigators on the UW - Eau Claire campus for two years. They moved to Spring Valley in 2010 when Todd became the youth pastor for the Spring Valley Youth Group. He currently serves as the pastor of Emmaus Church and also works with the youth group along with a team of other adults.

Todd and Jenny have six children – Ezra, Melisa, Anna, Sara, Asher, and Caleb. In their free time they enjoy running, taking walks, playing different sports/games with their kids, and spending time with friends.
